Every Custom Facial begins with a detailed consultation and skin analysis to document your skin’s current condition and goals. From that assessment we create a treatment plan using a thoughtful combination of techniques and products selected specifically to address the concerns you describe and what we observe during the initial review.

For example, extractions or deeper exfoliation are chosen only when the consultation indicates they are appropriate; gentler options are favored if skin shows sensitivity. The aim is a clear, personalized plan rather than a fixed set of steps.
Treatment steps and choices
A Custom Facial may include deep cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, targeted treatments and a relaxing hand, arm, neck and shoulder massage. The order and intensity of these steps are determined by the consultation and the skin analysis so each element supports the specific goals set during the appointment.
Because San Francisco’s mild, foggy summers and wet winters influence hydration and barrier needs, product selection and technique adjustments reflect seasonal tendencies. Scheduling, duration and location
Your appointment is scheduled for 75 MINUTES to allow time for consultation, analysis, the individualized treatment and a soothing massage component. The service price is $180. Time is reserved to carry out the bespoke plan rather than following a fixed menu of procedures.
Romani Roots is located in San Francisco’s Castro District / Eureka Valley, near Castro Theatre and Mission Dolores Park. The practice serves San Francisco and nearby communities and is convenient for commuters coming off the 101 corridor or Muni riders on Market Street.
